LIVONIA, MI — Cabinetworks Group, the nation’s largest privately-owned cabinet manufacturer, has marked the opening of its new headquarters in Livonia, MI, the company announced.
The headquarters, which will house more than 200 corporate employees, will serves as the hub from which the company will manage 8,000+ employees nationwide, corporate officials said. Cabinetworks Group manufactures more than 15 cabinet brands, including KraftMaid, Medallion, Merillat, Yorktowne and Smart Cabinetry.
Previously headquartered in Ann Arbor, MI Cabinetworks Group operations have grown significantly in recent years through a series of acquisitions, prompting the company to seek a new corporate hub to centralize its corporate functions while maintaining its roots in Michigan, company officials said.
